What is Codabar code
The Kudbar code was developed in 1972 and is widely used in the health care and library industries, as well as in express mail. The American Society of Blood Transfusion will also specify the Kudbar bar code as a blood bag identification code to ensure accurate operation and protect human life.
Kudbar bar code is a kind of non-continuous, non-fixed length, self-effective bidirectional bar code with both "bar" and "empty" indicating information. It is composed of barcode characters and corresponding characters for people to recognize.
The Kudbar barcode character set includes:
1) Numeric characters: 0-9 (10 digits);
2) English letters: A-D (4 letters);
3) Special characters: "-", ":", "/", "." , +, $.
The letters A, B, C and D in the Kudbar Bar code character set are only used for the start and end characters, and the selection can be any combination. When A, B, C and D are used as terminating characters, T, N, # and E can also be used respectively.
