Code 93 Barcode introduction
The Code 93 barcode is an alphanumeric code similar to code 39 that encodes 48 different characters. Checksum numbers based on Modulo 47 are not displayed in plain text lines.
The Code 93 extension code is based on the 93 code and can encode all 128 ASCII characters. The character represented by code 93 is represented as a single barcode character in code 93 Extended, but all other characters are represented by one control character plus another character. This must be taken into account when estimating bar code length.
Code 93 supports 10 digits (0-9), 26 uppercase letters (A-Z), and eight special characters: Spaces, hyphens, and hyphens. , *, $, /, +, and % contain 44 characters. The 93 code uses double check characters and the density is higher than that of the 39 code.
The technical data of Code 93 barcode are:
1) Valid characters for Code 93 are: The supporting characters mentioned in the previous paragraph are valid characters supported by code 93.
2) Code 93 Barcode length: There is no fixed length variable.
3) Code 93 barcode check bit: calculated according to Modulo 47. ActiveBarcode automatically calculates the check digit. There are check bits in the barcode generation software bar code, only need to input the previous data, check bit software will automatically calculate.
