Data Matrix TWO-DIMENSIONAL code was invented by International Data Matrix in 1989. It is a kind of two-dimensional code composed of black and white color blocks in squares or rectangles. Its development idea is to store more information on smaller labels.  The minimum size of DM code is the smallest among all bar codes at present, which is especially suitable for the identification of small parts. It is directly printed on the entity and is widely used in circuits, medicines and other small items as well as the assembly line production process of the manufacturing industry.  Data Matrix can be divided into ECC140 and ECC200 types.  The following small series will introduce in detail through TXT file batch generation DataMatrix code operation method.

Open the bar code software and create a blank label. Set the size of the label according to the size of the label paper in the printer.  Click the setting data source above the software, click select file in the pop-up interface, and import the TXT file with two-dimensional code data into the software.

Draw a QR code on the label using the QR code tool on the left toolbar, and set the TYPE of the QR code to Datamatrix ECC200 on the displayed editing page.  Click Insert Data Source field and select Field 1.

After the two-dimensional code is generated, you can choose the shape of the two-dimensional code on the right side of the software, rectangle or square.  Click print Preview at the top of the software to set the layout of the label, print range and print quantity.  You can click the next page to view the generation of the TWO-DIMENSIONAL code, no problem can be directly printed.

To sum up, it is the operation method of batch generation Datamatrix code through TXT text data. The two-dimensional code generated in batch can not only be directly printed out, but also can be exported to PDF files.
