How to make the flow bar code containing letters
Bar codes currently support numbers and letters, and some special characters. We often see bar codes in flow, such as commodity assembly lines, internal product management, logistics, and so on. But in addition to pure numbers, some users need to add letters to the barcode data, such as the internal code of some enterprises. Here we will describe in detail how to make the flow bar code containing letters.
First, open the barcode label software, create a blank label, select the barcode tool, and draw a barcode. Set the bar code type to Code128. Different types of barcodes support different data contents. Some support only digits, while others support both digits and letters. Common bar codes that support letters include Code128 (both upper and lower case letters), Code39 (26 uppercase letters), and Code93 (26 uppercase letters).
Select Counter at the data source.
Edit data to set data start, counter step, number of bits and total. Enter the desired letter at the data prefix, or you can add the letter to the end. As shown in the picture below:
After the barcode is made, set the font and size of the barcode data.
Click the print preview, you can see the generated flowing bar code effect. The letter SQ in front is unchanged, and the numbers behind are sequential numbers.
This is how to make a bar code containing letters. It is important to ensure that letters are supported when selecting the type of bar code.
