UPC code is a commodity bar code developed by the United States Uniform Code Committee UCC. It is the earliest commodity bar code in the world and has been widely used in North America. The UPC code is technically identical to the EAN code, and its coding method is also a fixed-length, pure digital barcode. The UPC code can be divided into five versions: UPC-A, B, C, D, and E. This time we mainly introduce the method of batch production of UPC-A bar code.

First, open the barcode label software and create a label. The size of the label must be the same as that of the label paper in the printer. Click the "Barcode" button and draw a barcode on the label. Select "UPC-A" for barcode type and "Counter" for data source.

Set data start, step, data bits, and total amount. The data prefix is set according to your situation. The UPC-A code can encode 12 digits (11-bit data + 1-bit check code). The check code is automatically generated by the barcode generation software. So we only need to set 11 bits of data. The diagram below:

After the barcode is generated, you can set the font, size, and color of barcode numbers on the right of the software.

Click Print Preview to set the paper and label layout. On the preview page, you can see that the generated bar codes are generated in sequence.

The above is the method of batch generation of flow UPC-A code. Upc-a code is used for general commodities and is the most widely applicable UPC code.
